measuring check

had an interesting thought, i wondered how much i had actually lost measurement wise, and i was amazed to realise that i have lost,

4 inches off my bust,
3 inches off my waist
6 1/2 inches off my hips

all since i have started to loose weight, so that is about what 2 1/2 stones works out distributed across my body.

oh and i got to my 10% body weight loos and 1 1/2 stone marker this week at sw which i was well chuffed at, i just need the extra half stone and i might be at my target weight lol

its Sunday

Well, its sunday and i have a traditional roast dinner, beef, new pots, roast pots, fresh garden peas, cabbage, courgettes, carrots gravy and horseraddish yummmm. then we had baked potato with pinapple salsa, lettuce and a grating of cheese, with tuna and greek yoghurt

I'm hoping for a decent weight loss tomorrow, it would be perfect if I can loose 3 1/2 lbs then i have my first stone at sw class and 2 st in total

well its Saturday

and we have been to the skelton show, and ov course there were shed loads of fast food vans there, offering Huge burgers, chips and butties etc etc but having a thought before we set off i packed a little picnic and made up a salad for myself, so all intentions were good. Even tho the chips did look delicious pmsl

Had a good week food wise so far, i have been keeping a record of what i have been eating and drinking which has helped, i havent been sneaking a bit here and there and then forgetting about it. (not that i do that a lot)

This morning, i had a slightly larger bowl of cereal than normal but counted it as 4 syns extra.

I must admit, kids Well one of them is driving me to distraction with her selfishness and that is usually my stresser to either eat chocolate or drink !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had compliments last night from some school mums as i went to gabrielles school disco and a couple said how slim i was looking, in fact someone said to me the other day that i was looking younger pmsl how good is that for an ego boost

not as good as i should be

Well, the weekend sort of merged into one and from friday night being bad i havent really stopped picking and doing, during the footie yesterday i managed to eat a load of jelly sweets that i shouldnt have, why cant all my children like them instead of leaving them :-( lol

Oh well, back on track today and if i have gained tonight then i really wont be surprised at all because i have been so lucky the last few weeks with holiday and a loss and then going out for a super meal and a loss so maybe it will just catch up with me . Shows tho that i might just have to start to run a bit faster then eh.

I have bidded this morning on a Belly dancing DVD so that i dont loose out on my fabulous exercise routine during the summer hols, i can pop it in when the mini and midi beasts have gone to bed and get wiggling my tush lol. I love it and it makes you feel so toned too, and its about the only form of exercise where it is good to have tits and a belly pmsl even tho the belly is going big time so maybe its really working......

interesting thought of the week (well as its monday the first)

When setting out on the journey to loose weight I had to get into the right place mentally. But where as most folk want to loose weight because they are 'fat' and so starting their journey in a negative state I didnt mind being over weight so much as the being unfit, but to enable me to do any form of exercise i needed to loose weight. I was also very very happy in my family and relationship. So when my friend suggested having a look at Slimming world i was in the right place to think seriously about what i was eating.

Since starting my new healthy eating plan I have been out more than i have in recent months lol, normally this would sabotage my good work, but even so i have maintained a steady weight loss, even going all inclusive on holiday and coming back to the UK and loosing 1lb.

I am feeling really possitive about the weight loss this time around and being able to keep it off too which is very important to me. and to top it all off, I have the full support from my husband and my daughter. I get the encouragement and compliments from them yes my 9yr old daughter keeps telling me how good i am looking now my tummy is getting smaller .

shopping lists

Why is it so difficult to write a shopping list??????

i think i have written everything on it, but then i get to the shop and realise that i havent listed everything..... Still costs me a fortune but twice a week instead of once a week grrrrrr

need to get my ass in gear me thinks, again then i can have all the loverly food that i want to eat ,

The weather doesnt help much either, you plan loverly summer meals then the weather turns arctic and you dont want salad, or you plan roast dinners and its blooming roasting outside and you really dont want to be stuck in cooking a full dinner

interesting week

well, after a week of sitting on a sun lounger, drinking cocktails and gin, and eating three fantastic meals a day.... i went to my first weigh in for two weeks and guess what. i lost 1lb.

I think the little bit of weigh that i gained, was water retention lol.

My sw leader wanted to know how i did it, and well it was just making the right choices at meal times intstead of stuffing my face with all the fattening options. I really enjoyed my food whilst i was away, and i didnt miss out on anything that i fancied, if there was something that looked bad but interesting, i had a little bit....... you know what they say a little bit of what you fancy does you good lol

Well, we will see how good i can be this week, i am going out on friday and apparently the menu selection is veggie, so looks like friday is going to be a green day but i need to stay away from the cheese if i want to achieve my goal.

So far following SW I have lost 1 stone 6 1/2 lbs with the classes i have managed 6 1/2 lbs ( i lost one stone prior to joining) so i just have another 1 stone 5 1/2lbs to get to my first goal, and from there we will see what i want to do
